In the coming year a total of 8\u2019500 specialists from third countries will be admitted:<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>4\u2019500 residence permits B<\/li>\r\n<li>4\u2019000 short-term permits L<\/li>\r\n<li>Permits for 120 days or up to max. 4<\/li>\r\n<li>consecutive months are not under quota<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>Quotas for <strong>EU\/EFTA service providers<\/strong> remain unchanged:<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>500 residence permits B<\/li>\r\n<li>3\u2019000 short-term permits L<\/li>\r\n<li>The quota will be released on a quarterly basis.<\/li>\r\n<li>Permits for 120 days or up to max. 4 consecutive months are not under quota.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>In addition, the council confirmed quotas for <strong>UK citizen<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2\u2019100 residence permits B<\/li>\r\n<li>1&#8217;400 short-term permits L<\/li>\r\n<li>The quota will be released on a quarterly basis.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>This quota for the UK is valid for one year and released on a quarterly basis. For the time being, permits for British citizens are not subject to federal approval.
